Grands Rapids Boat Show: Move-In Completed

The Grand Rapids Boat Show is now just two days away.

Pier 33 began moving boats to the show on Friday, just as winter returned. Our crew took eight boats up to Grand Rapids on Friday and then rolled-out of St. Joseph with two more boats early Saturday – while St. Joseph was in the midst of the season’s biggest snowfall. Locally, we had a little more than a foot of snow early Saturday.  Then we caravanned out again before dawn on Sunday, so that we could be first in the door for move-in.

We’ve transported thirteen boats now to Grand Rapids for the show – Pier 33’s largest display at the show in nearly a decade.

Pier 33’s crew worked tirelessly throughout the day on Sunday to get our display in place, including all carpet, docks and careful placement of the boats. Show-goers will have plenty to see at our display and the boats will be easily boarded. Henri Boucher and his staff at Showspan helped make our boat show move-in trouble-free. Thanks Henri!

There are more finishing details to apply today and tomorrow before the show opens at DeVos Place on Wednesday (3 PM!), but the boats are all in place and our show line-up includes these boats:
  • Pursuit: C 180 (Michigan debut), 265 Dual Console, 280 Sport, 230 Center Console.
  • Scout: 245 XSF, 177 Dorado, both models being shown in Grand Rapids for the very first time.
  • Chaparral: 264 Sunesta, 246 SSi, 224 Sunesta, 225 SSi Cuddy (debut!), 216 SSi, 19 H2O Sport (debut!), 18 H2O Ski & Fish (debut!).
